With immense gratitude, we just celebrated the agency’s 15th anniversary. When we first started planning how to celebrate such a milestone, we thought about calling it our Quinceanera and dressing up in pretty lacy dresses. A fun idea, but Amélie Company is French-American, so we celebrated with the theme 15 years in our French Quarters. We called our friends at Lucille’s Creole Cafe to whip up some delicious cajun dishes for this special event. Guests enjoyed gumbo and jambalaya while drinking beer from Abita, a New Orleans brewery. The original plan to celebrate on our office’s rooftop got blown away by strong winds early in the evening. Not to be thwarted, we regrouped inside the agency and resurfaced in smaller numbers on the calm, quiet roof later in the evening.
But back to gratitude. We have so many people to thank for Amélie’s success: our earliest teammates who left perfectly good agencies to try something new with us; our friends and families who cheered us on and gave us office space before we could pay rent; our very first clients who took a leap of faith and then helped us spread the word. And so on. Truly, we are grateful to each and every famélie member, client and partner we’ve had over the past decade and a half–and to friends and family for their undying support. Thank you.
Now for the opportunities and prospects ahead!
