Brian Friedrich has joined our creative agency as Executive Creative Director. Friedrich most recently served as global creative director leading Hotels.com at Crispin Porter + Bogusky. His work has been recognized by every major award show in the world, and his accolades include several Cannes Lions, One Show and D&AD pencils, a gold Effie and two Emmy nominations.

Friedrich has written and guided work for clients such as Volkswagen and Hotels.com, was part of a team that successfully launched AXE deodorant in the United States and also spent a number of years helping Sara Lee food brands, including Jimmy Dean Sausage, Hillshire Farms and Ballpark Franks, achieve record sales.

Friedrich holds a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s degree in advertising and communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. He joins Amélie just two months after Julie Suntrup was hired as the agency’s Executive Vice President. Together, the two newcomers have extensive private sector expertise across a range of verticals, including automotive, CPG, retail and food and beverage, among others.
