“With a successful track record of developing award-winning, global campaigns and leading creative teams, Brian is the secret sauce we have been searching for to foster Amélie’s creative charge and bring a fresh perspective and energy to our work,” said Benoit Guin, CEO of Amélie Company.

Friedrich has written and guided work for clients such as Volkswagen and Hotels.com, was part of a team that successfully launched AXE deodorant in the United States and also spent a number of years helping Sara Lee food brands, including Jimmy Dean Sausage, Hillshire Farms and Ballpark Franks, achieve record sales.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brian to Amélie and believe that his background in private sector advertising will help us attract clientele outside of our typical wheelhouse and open new doors for our growing agency,” said Robin Ashmore, CMO at Amélie Company.

“I have admired Amélie’s ‘greater good’ and behavior change work for a while and I’m very excited to now be a part of the team,” said Friedrich. “I look forward to lending my experience to my talented new colleagues and working alongside them to create inspiring work that makes a positive impact on people’s lives.”

Friedrich holds a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s degree in advertising and communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. He joins Amélie just two months after Julie Suntrup was hired as the agency’s Executive Vice President. Together, the two newcomers have extensive private sector expertise across a range of verticals, including automotive, CPG, retail and food and beverage, among others.
